A fresh and elegant red wine from Burgenland, Austria, made from 100% Blaufränkisch, one of the region’s most important red grape varieties. The vineyards are located in Burgenland, where the warm Pannonian climate helps the grapes achieve ripe fruit flavours while maintaining the freshness and lively character typical of Blaufränkisch.

Produced by Höpler, a family winery from Burgenland that combines generations of winemaking tradition with a modern approach. The grapes are harvested in October and the wine is primarily vinified in stainless steel tanks, with around 10% aged in French barriques. This preserves the wine’s vibrant fruit character while adding a subtle layer of texture and spice.

Dark ruby red in colour, this Blaufränkisch offers inviting aromas of blackberries and cherries. Juicy and lively on the palate, with a velvety texture, elegant structure and a refreshing fruit-driven character. The finish is smooth and balanced, making it an approachable expression of this distinctive Austrian variety.
