This Doppio Passo Riserva is produced according to a classic process in which the grapes are harvested in two passes and fermented on the skin: one part when the grapes are fully ripe, the other as a later harvest. This noble Riserva is then matured in oak barrels for 9 months. The result is a smooth, full-bodied and profound wine that marries seductive aromas of wild berries and cherries with a fine wood note and a hint of vanilla. Due to its subtle fruity sweetness, Doppio Passo Riserva goes perfectly with strong cheese.
