A rich and elegant red wine from Burgenland, Austria, made from a blend of Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Syrah. The grapes come from Kirchberg, Höpler’s most precious vineyard, located near Lake Neusiedl. The site benefits from the warm Pannonian climate and the cooling influence of the lake, helping the grapes develop ripe fruit flavours while retaining freshness and structure.

Produced by Höpler, a family winery from Burgenland that combines traditional Austrian winemaking with a modern approach. For the 2023 vintage, the Blaufränkisch is vinified in stainless steel, while the Syrah and Merlot mature for 16 months in French oak barrels, with two-thirds of the barrels being new. This combination creates a wine with both vibrant fruit and refined oak complexity.

Deep ruby red in colour, K7 offers rich aromas of dark berries and elegant roasted notes. Velvety and juicy on the palate, with the freshness and elegance of Blaufränkisch at its core, complemented by the richness of Merlot and Syrah. Dark fruit, fine spice and subtle cocoa notes lead into a long, smooth finish.

Serving: at 16–18°C in Burgundy/Pinot Noir or Bordeaux glasses.
