IDDA means “she” in the Sicilian dialect, which is the term of endearment and awe with which Sicilians refer to Mount Etna. The blue label reflecting the sky and waves of the region, close to the slopes of Mount Etna, IDDA Bianco captures the purity and precision of Gaja and Graci’s shared vision for the Carricante grape: an elegant expression of volcanic white winemaking.
The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Biancavilla, on the south-west side of the Etna volcano, at an average altitude of 700-800 m asl, and of Belpasso, on the south side, at an average altitude of 600-700 m asl. Vinification - Fermentation for about three weeks, followed by aging for 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in steel.
Serve in Pinot Noir glasses at a serving temperature between 10° – 12°C
