Urciuolo Benevento Falanghina

A fresh and aromatic white wine from Benevento in Campania, made from 100% Falanghina, one of the region’s most distinctive native grape varieties. The vineyards are located in the province of Benevento, around 250–300 metres above sea level, where the warm Mediterranean climate and hilly terrain help produce grapes with vibrant acidity and expressive fruit character.

Produced by Fratelli Urciuolo, this wine is crafted to preserve the natural freshness and aromatic character of Falanghina. The grapes are gently pressed, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. The wine then spends around three months in steel tanks on its lees, followed by bottle refinement, giving it added texture while maintaining its freshness.

Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections, it offers fresh aromas of citrus, pineapple, banana and lemon blossom. On the palate it is dry, lively and refreshing, with pronounced acidity, a pleasant mineral character and a clean, persistent finish.

An excellent aperitif and a natural match for seafood, shellfish, fish, white meats, vegetables, fresh cheeses and Mediterranean cuisine.

Serving: at 8–10°C in Riesling/Sauvignon Blanc glass.
